It's not what you think.

IGN has owned the Gametrailers youtube channel since the original business collapsed, and since then they have been using it to drop all video game trailers there.

That way they have a channel that is very straightforward, since they post so many featurettes and other stuff on their own main youtube.

There has been nothing else on the gametrailers youtube channel since then. No people, no personalities, etc.
