Well, Resident Evil has simply stepped down as a high calibur seller. Combining the GC and PS2 releases of RE4 still yields a number lower than the combined CODE: Veronica. Safe to say, AC is in in Japan, BH... isn't really.

Stupid comparison, but it must pass 400K to go beyond Zero, 450K to go beyond the first Outbreak and who knows where biohazard 4 is now.

It should be around 420k rightnow . Good for a port , not good for a popurlar franchise (it still be , right ?)

The hover-point for an RE game in Japan these days is in the 400K zone. For a port, that's excellent. RE4 GC seems to be the only one that failed to get anywhere near that mark, oddly enough.

They gave DMC2 to poor creator , just to make sure the hype of this series is destroy by its quality.
They made BH/RE exclusive on GC , just to make sure "Sony fanbase" have no chance to play. :lol

I hope Capcom does it right with BH5 and DMC4 . Both series are on the way to gaining back popularity (We can see from high praise of DMC3 and BH4) . I want to see how Capcom milking their new belove franchise Monster Hunter anyway.

They DID announce the Ps2 port JUST BEFORE the advertising campaign for RE4 began for the GC, and just before the game was going to release for the GC. If you don't think that killed a lot of sales, you're wrong.

I think it'll do badly. It's a good game for RE fans but overall a lazy port. Bad quality FMV(even RE2 N64 did much better) and they didn't even bother to put in the waist holding animation when in the 'cautious' status. No leg dragging animation in the 'danger' status either.

It's a good game but that's because of RE rocks. The DS port however is just a quick port, which Capcom probably didn't ship many anyway.

RPG game like Enchanted Arm can't move any kind of system , the game quality is really not quite good even compare to general J-RPG.

This is great news! For the third week in a row the 360 sold more than the XBox at the same point in it's release. Momentum!

That and the awesome hardware itself and superb software lineup. Movies, Porn, Games, MP3, Anime, etc. all done so excellently only on the PSP. There's no reason why it shouldn't sell.

And PSP beating DS in Japan 2 weeks in a row is no small feat. Yeah DS is in shortage, so umm that's suck for the DS eh? Nintendo fans who complain whenever Sony shipped their stuff should take a lesson from this. Overshipping is always better than a shortage. Sony is smart.

And let the winning streak continues to 3 weeks hooray!
