3DS in full holiday mode. Modest sales for WiiU games.

Edit: PSP is just slaughtering the Vita, guess Sony is planning on making up for losses by milking the PSP for some time to come. Kinda like Nintendo tries to do with DS and Wii in the West.

Wii U sales are alright I suppose. Were post launch so there shouldn't be a drop next week I'd argue. MHU drop doesn't fill me with excitement.

3DS owns Japan.

3DS is like O.O

Not sure why anyone expected the holiday to do anything for the Vita. Christmas presents in Japan is parents to children, and what kid is going to want a Vita?

The Vita had a 75% drop in week 2. The WiiU has a 58% drop. That's, of course, not taking the supply situation of either into account.

This weeks Animal Crossing numbers are about 40% higher in Famitsu suggesting a lot of download cards being sold. And probably a lot of direct eShop sales.


Yakuza 5 is selling a bit slower than Yak4, which is surprising considering the time of the year and the fact that we haven't had a proper mainline game in a while, especially one that's as ambitious as Yak5. Overall the fanbase seems very solid, though.

Lol at people claiming Wii U numbers are okay or modest. These numbers are better than Wii, both hardware and software wise, crushes PS3 and vita numbers as well. Considering there is a Wii U shortage, these numbers a huge.

Japan is embracing Wii U as it's main console.

I guess prejudice goes a long way in how facts are interrupted...

Wii U is very lucky this is the holiday season. Otherwise I suspect those numbers would have been far lower. Software. Get some, Nintendo.

Edit: Dragon, Wii and Vita are all but dead. PlayStation 3 is a 6 yr old console on the way out.
