Mega Man Battle Network 6 is coming for....

Game Boy Advance. After moving to DS with that remake, they're actually going BACK to GBA, DS could still get a remake though like last time.

Yeah dude, that was announced a while ago.

It's going to be the last one though.

Not very surprising. They did the same thing with MM6 on NES even though SNES was out.

Oh God, another one on GBA.

Please, Capcom. Give the series a rest for at least two or three years. Then come back and make something new that's genuinely awesome.

Edit: I missed this announcement.

They're probably just doing the game on GBA with the intention of a DS version afterwards, like with MMBN5. In all honestly, I really wish they'd bring the series to PSP. I really like the series, and 2d on PSP is just so wonderful.

Unlike the original series tho, the .exe titles deliver in gameplay very nicely. Team Colonel/Protoman owned, and it looks like 6 will be an all-out good bye :D

They should port that over to the DS when its done. The DS could really do a Battle Network game well and that's where the Mega Man userbase is. It would make the most sense to put the highest selling Mega Man series on the handheld that's been owning Japan.

They did so for 5, I'm expecting the same for 6.

Agreed, seems like they've just moved the .5 sequels to DS. I expect a new series based off the .EXE universe to probably hit DS after EXE6 too.

The original series had constant good gameplay throughout all 8 games. EXE and the Classic series do the same thing: exact same gameplay in each game, with small changes, yet all are fun.

This may sound crazy, but I'm not playing another game of the series without the map screen. Playing the GBA version is just madness.

I don't know about Rockman 6, it was a massive disappointment. And the changes in the .exe games are usually big not small.

Yes but what about Megaman Zero 5? Any word on if it's going to be GBA or DS?

No idea yet, tho they usually release around spring each year. Now not that it matters because we know how Capcom is about these things but it seemed that (zero4 spoiler)
zero is dead at the end with ciel crying at the end about it.

...I couldn't resist looking. ><

Ah well if it ended on a cliffhanger I'd assume they'd carry over one last installment on the GBA...unless they plan to use this as an excuse to upgrade the series on DS.

Mega Man 6 rocks! Every MM should have the jet pack. In fact, every game should have a jet pack. Even Tetris and Dynasty Warriors.
