I own it and seriously. I don't recommend wasting your money or time on this BOMB. Its boring, its linear, the combat is boring and unexciting, voice acting/storytelling is godfucking awful, the exposition/story is boring and did I mention its BORING?!

In the end, Cinnamon was the only character I cared about, and largely because she could heal my dudes (I stopped playing when i got to the desert.) Was there any reason to ever use Massimo, Marino, and Spider?

not much. they didn't have any personality so the whole point was their heavier hitting ability. The games X-mode attack is stupid and well.. it just dreadful. I also gave up after running through yet another samey corridor + repeateto random combat.

That was the kicker for me. DQ had deep gameplay (albeit somewhat too complicated at times) and varied environments, while MMXCM had "hold the X button!" and going through 1000 hallways. Did they use the B team to develop this game or something?
They should have just made it an action RPG with tactical elements (i.e., AI commands for your party members wired to the D-pad)
