is this show worth watching?

I've seen so many clips that seem to suggest it might be good in a terrible way, or terrible in a good way

Probably like The Big Bang Theory. If you know what they’re talking about, the show goes out the window. I saw a few eps and it seemed very average

Supernatural had the whole CSI Miami meme with the stupid one liners and the yeahhhh. It was great:

Yeah it's more of a parody than just the meme. But back then the internet was full of

That whole episode was great, all the parodies were stop on.

It's pretty much just another CSI with a slightly more lighthearted tone.
It's full of dumb shit but the one in the gif is from the extra dumb moments.

"What are those?!" in Black Panther, except it was like 5 years late

In comparison, I remember the Juggernaut one being actually a fairly quick turnaround from meme to reality

Does the opposite count? Having Fortnite and a dabbing Hulk in Endgame nearly ruined the movie for me :(

Actually, Spider-man: Into the Spider-verse was first to do that meme in its after credits scene, also as a plus it let Stan Lee voice J. Jonah Jameson as Stan had said before he always wanted to play him and he got his chance right before passing.

Oh god, X3’s Juggernaut, another shit element in a shit movie (Kelsey Grammar as Beast is its only saving grace). It doing a meh meme in my eyes did not help it. Thank god Deadpool 2 at least gave me a Juggernaut who visually looked on point even if I wish they had at least alluded to his relation to Xavier.

I guess since this is posted in OT, gaming doesn't count as big media in the intended sense of the OP. Which is a shame, because gaming was the first media format to really adopt, riff on, and make its own memes. A tri-pronged attack into the heartland of modern memetics.

I guess if we're being stingy, we could say that most gaming memes could be chalked up to referencing other games, or as an in universe reference, but you know. Some count! Surely!

Final Fantasy XII had that Earth elemental Esper (Hashmal, maybe?) whose basic attack was called "roxorz," or whatever, very clearly screamed at a nod to the omfg so quirky uWu MySpace lingo of the time.

Final Fantasy references both Frozen (the cold never bothered me, anyway) and Peter Jackson's LotR (Leiden Potato: Boil it, mash it, or stick it in a stew!)

And I guess this is stretching it, but the English VA's of Metal Gear Solid take every opportunity they can to get in character and absolutely CHEW the scenery. Dummy thiccc, crab battle, omg hotness I wanna bang you, etc, etc

Movies, idfk. Who watches movies, anyway?

I think the “Sanic the Hedgehog” meme was in the movie, right? The part where the crazy old man shows his hand drawn picture of Sonic.
