Looks great btw. Not a great fan of card-based games but I think it could be great.

I'm very interested in this game. I'm sure you turncoats will come around, just like the 180 spin GAF did with Donkey Konga...
 
It is a really nice tech demo, that's for sure. I hope the gameplay turns out well, because card based games don't sell well, regardless of how good they actually are.

In case you guys missed them, take it from someone who HAS played them: both Snatcher and Policenauts were really bad games (despite the silly hype noises Gamefan made around them). Hell, even Kojima thinks they suck.

You're better off just watching Blade Runner in the case of the former.
 
I enjoyed Snatcher for what it was worth and keen on playing Policenauts. I'd just like for Kojima to do something original again - I love the shit out of Metal Gear Solid saga but christ, one person can only take so much.

He's done Boktai which was original. In recent interviews he's said that he wants to make a futuristic game so unless he goes right into the next MG after this then that should be his next new game.

Man, I hope so! Those "boobies and butt in games are demeaning to both women and games" types make me laugh.

Also, snake is using the rifle that's going to replace the m-16 at the top of the pic. I actually like the art a lot, I was never a big fan of the original pencil-and-ink style really. Made good boxart I guess.

I've never played a card game before, but the videos make it look like a strategy game/card battle crossbreed. Still looks pretty neat if you ask me.
 
Not as a dig against MGS3 but...I'm more interested in this title. I'm a little tired of the other series, and I like unusual card games (Culdcept, the new sim mode in Sega basketball). I know they usually sell for shit and it's likely to totally disappear after this outing, but I hope it's done well.

The art is being done by the ZOE2 character designer instead of Shinkawa. So that might be why you like these more.

He's working on Boktai DS, actually.

I wish he was working on Snatcher DS, though. An adventure game would kick on that machine!
