Mario_Hugo

Lisa Edelstein's dad touched my private parts. True fact.
I don't know anything about HTML, but I really need to figure out a way for people to pick up "Mario Hugo Gonzalez" or "W Magazine crest" when they search google...

<title>Mario Hugo Gonzalez - Student Portfolio</title>
<META name="description" content="Portfolio of Mario Hugo Gonzalez. Design featured in W Magazine. Brooklyn based and available for work in NYC.">
<META name="keywords" content="Mario Hugo Gonzalez, W Magazine, Loveworn, Portfolio, New York City, Designer, Illustrator, Art Director">
</head>

This is what I've got written, but it doesn't seem to work at all...anybody know what I can do?

I don't know much about this but I don't think google pays much attention to meta tags. One thing I know is somewhere on google you can submit the url of something you want added to google. So you should add your site to google to tell them you want it looked at. I don't know if you've done this or not already.

Other than that, I really have no idea how google ranks stuff.

You'll have to wait (probably a while) before google crawlers get to your site - assuming you are on their list of sites to search. Its not an instant thing.
