I was looking at a swedish gamestore and they have Metroid Prime 2 listed at 26th November. That is very early for a nintendo game. Pleasant surprise for Pal owners.

What I also noticed is that the game is 60hz only. It will not run in 50hz.

The dutch webshop www.gcshop.nl has had the game pre-order including that release date on the frontpage for about two weeks now.

Must be the NTSC version. There's no way MP2 won't run at 50 Hz. PAL60 is a pseudo standard.

Hmm, just played the demo of this last night...

I really do hope that the area in the demo remains nothing more than a demo. Something was lacking in comparison to the original's atmosphere...

Also, the environment modeling wasn't as solid as the original and there were some framerate hiccups at points. Of course, seeing that this was basically the E3 demo...I'm not suprised that there were issues. I just hope they are cleared up...

I don't know if I like the dark world idea presented in the demo either. It was not terribly appealing. I'm curious to see what they end up doing with that idea in the final game, though.
