Excuse the crappy title, but thought this was neat and should be shared. Marine biologists have found some octopus species which sneak away from predators (ala Snake in a box), by camoflaging themselves and 6 of their legs as an inanimate object, and scarpering using the other two.

octopi are so amazingly smart... i was told once by an aquarium worker some species have the intelligence of a three year old child. they can do those kids' puzzles where you have to put the shapes in the correct slots, open jars to get food, recognize faces... they really are amazing creatures.
