MGS3 Question!

I've just reached the cliff overlooking Groznyj Grad, past the mountain fortress,
and I don't yet have any sort of RPG. I remember someone mentioning on page 12,453 about how fun it was blasting choppers with RPG's, and I noticed on the approach to the mountain ruin that many of the soldiers are packing them.
Did I miss it? I've got sequential saves, so I can always go back, but I don't want to go any further if I missed it.

Oh and a sidenote, does The End's
death cinema change if you blast his parrot? I didn't kill/capture it and he showed up in the clip..I'm assuming it would have to be different if the bird is dead.
Anyone enlighten?

I'm not exactly sure when you get the RPG but the choppers can be blasted with those turrets planted on the way up the mountain. Maybe on a 2nd play through it happens but it's really no biggie imo. Someone else may be able to help you with that better than I.

And about The End,
Same thing, only the parrot's a ghost, everything the same, just transluscent.

Ill give you directions from the Cliff
first, go into the cabin and then make your way outside, after your are in the area with the trenches and flame thrower guys. Proceed to the area south or below that. In that area you should see 3 buildings. In one of those buildings, i believe its the lower right one, contains the rocket launcher. If i explained it badly ill just reiterate that these are not new areas. you are backtracking

Gonaria you are my new favorite misspelled sexual disease! I ran through that middle portion of the cliffs quite quickly so I wouldn't be suprised if I overlooked it. I'm already to Groznyj Grad (
beat The Fury, quite handily I might add
), but I think its worth it to go back and make sure I have the full arsenal. Many thanks!

Just another quick question - i've completed the game on HARD and i take it i can only start another game on HARD mode with the previous clear save and not an EXTREME game?

Also where is patriot you get second time round? - it wasnt available in my back pack from the start. Im guessing i have to find it, along with the tuxedo ect?

The extras are only on the same level you earned them on. Also if i remember right you can only load the extras from a new game save they give you an option for after the ending. Stealth, weapons, all camos, facepaint, etc. are all in the bag after you retrieve it when you start a new game.

Question again! How do I get fucking
Raiden's clothes off him? I've knocked him out but I have no clue as to what to do from here..

Take him to the locker room on the 2nd floor west side and stuff him in one of the lockers

once you knock him out, you need to take him to a room on the second floor. To get to the room you need to cross the bridge on the second floor and open the door in front of you. The room is on the right side, and i believe you need Raiden to unlock it. You dont need to do anything special to unlock it though.

The game ended when it got exciting. The 'last' areas of the game didn't seem like final stages to me. I was kind of surprised how easy Volgin and The Boss were.

How did you kill the boss.....CQC? Sniper + goggles?

having to put the final bullet in The Boss' head at the end was one of the oddest things emotionally. i almost felt bad for doing it.

Yea, it's just too bad it was done just as well in Gungrave first ;)

Hey did anyone else know that along with the theme song for Snake Eater he using a crocodile head for sneaking underwater was also in homage to James Bond? I found this out while watching a classic Bond flick in wich he gets across a river inside a raft in the shape of a crocodile....neat hugh?

I spent a half hour getting that damn crocidile head and I never found one place to use it. The dudes around the dock areas saw me just as easy as with it off. It seemed pointless, especially once you have water camo.

I had a lot of guards say, "Huh whats that?"..."Oh, its just a crocodile"

So i found it somewhat useful, not to mention hilarious to use :D

Did they remove the part where you could scare a guy if you had the croc head on in a hollowed out tree trunk? I tried it a few times, and always got shot at...
