Yeah, I know this probably could go in the Sticky thread for MGS3, but I wanna see what people think on this.

I think the smartest idea Kojima did was build this game completely independent (more or less) of MGS2. Look at all the possible directions he can go (or someone else could go) with different MG games.

-You could do one for The Boss.
-If you really were strapped for money, MAYBE try and un-gay Raiden with a game exploring his situation
-Naturally, remakes of MG1 and 2
-Even a game with Ocelot as the main character.

Just a few ideas. what y'all think? What are your ideas?

I want a game set during WWII starring Cobra Unit so, so bad. It would be a zillion times better than Call the Path of Honorable Duty Arms or whatever.

Sign me up. I either want this or another Naked Snake mission. Hell, give me both. And none of that Snake Tales crap, I want this stuff for real. No need for huge graphic updates, just make the game and have it come out within the next 18 months.

I'm in no hurry to be the old Solid Snake again...I never thought I would say that, but it's the truth. I want to know more about Big Boss, The Boss, and possibly a very young Solid Snake.

Remake Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake... Both missions in one game that should be called Metal Gear Solid 4: Zanzibar's Nightmare, or Outer Heaven, or something like that... Intrude N313 isn't catchy enough IMO...

Yes, keep 'Solid' in the title. Kojima's first explanation for the suffix had something to do with the game being in 3D. And when I ask for an MG and MG2 remake, I am asking for 3D so... 1 plus 1 égal... s'que ça égal!

The Boss could have her own game, but I really think Kojima should close the loop with Snake first. Meryll could also be a good alternative to a non-gay Raiden...

As far as new games in the series go, i'm most interested in a game based around The boss obviously. Another about Big Boss certainly wouldn't be a bad thing either.

New adventures for Solid should be put back while they explain past characters with full games. As long as they're done as well as MGS3 they'll rock. Build up everyone before going to present day Solid/Ocelot ect.

I think a game with The Boss during the WW2 era with the Cobra unit would be cool. However, after playing Metal Gear Solid 3, I'd love to see a next gen remake/remix of Metal Gear 1 + 2 together in a package. I never played Metal Gear. I don't think we ever got the true Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake in the US ( I played Snake's Revenge though that game was garbage! I refuse to believe Kojima and KCEJ were behind that game. This is the reason I almost didn't buy MGS). I mean, in Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, isn't this the game

. I wouldn't even mind if the Metal Gear 1 + 2 remake was a retelling of sorts. Not only going over the events of both games, but the full creation behind FOXHOUND. Now that the story gap has been bridged with the release of MGS3 I want the rest of it inbetween. I remember when MGS3 was announced to be a prequel I was disappointed. Now I want the rest of the story from the past! :lol

Hahaha, you can use the Camo menu to die his hair and change his shoes to match the environment, as well. Naturally, you can't wear high heels outside, and he'd HAVE to wear the Come-F***-Me Boots around Groznyj Grad. :lol
