Torque is wholly misunderstood. It isn't a movie to be taken seriously. It is to be taken as a purposeful over the top Sam Ramie esque western. It has obvious and purposeful lapses in logic. The entire film is based around style well over substance.
For instance...why does the hero, after facing down Ice Cube between the moving train, just dissapear into thin air in the middle of a flat valley. If you don't know the answer to that question you've missed the point of the movie by a mile.
