Microsoft Still Has 40 Titles in Active Development

"Ofc we have 40!

we have like 10 UE5 Halo test, 4 Gears of was, CoD 2026-27-28-29-30, and this folder with lists that be ignored like:

Conker
Banjo Kazzoie
Battletoads

And like, at LEAST, 5 mobs for Minecraft!"

Does to have just a pitch and a CG concept trailer count as to be in 'active development' for them?

Make sure around half of them are mobile games from King or mobile adaptations of CoD, Blizzard, etc IPs (around 20).

And like half of the remaining ones, post launch support of GaaS already released (around 10).

Plus half of the remaining ones games that barely started production not long ago (around 5). And the remaining ones (around 5) the already known ones that will be released soonish.

And how many will be left in another year?
They're a bunch of liars all of them. They knew about this probably for months, avoided talking about PD during the summer showcase, just tried to build hype for the future as if everything was fine.
When they smile and talk about how great things are. Be worried…

The insecurity in these studios from watching streamers to reading comments online are insane. They pretty much exist everywhere and they must feel welcomed no matter what.

40 fake projects like perfect dark? I can see xbox and microsoft cheating everyone with AI-made trailers of stuff that doesnt exist
Yep. They will keep announcing stuff so to get those Game Pass subscribers going.

So many people would have jumped the gun, bought Xbox Series X|S, and subscribed to Game Pass to play Hellblade 2 (announced in 2019, released in 2024), Everwild, Perfect Dark, State of Decay 3, Fable (TBD), etc. paid the monthly subscription fees, and still haven't got a chance to play those games.

If they take them 4 years to develop each... you need 4*12=48 games to be able to release an exclusive each month on gamepass if you don't want ppl to unsubscribe and want to create engagement...
