Judge also said that "King of the Hill isn't going to be around much longer," but he and "The Animation Show" co-producer Don Hertzfeldt are in talks with HBO to bring a weekly version of "The Animation Show" to that cable station.
I've always wanted to see HBO do some sort of program that collects shorts of one kind or another and an animated version would be awesome. The Animation Show is a good effort by Judge and Hertzfeldt but getting it going more frequently and on television would be really great. It's just been really difficult to create a market for shorts, and a weekly compilation on HBO could really help.

It makes me sad to think that King of the Hill has had more than ten seasons while shows like Arrested Development and Clone High get cancelled before their prime.

King of the Hill is average. It's not crap...but it's not that great either. I think it's funny at times. I'd rank it higher than the Simpsons at the moment.

But compare that to Arrested Development which is at many times pure genius.

King of the Hill is the shit, I've never seen a bad episode of that show. The new ones rock, the original eps rule, and I never get sick of Hank's ass-backward generalizations and bizarre insecurities about almost everything.

"BWAHAH!!" That noise never gets old. :lol

Yeah, King of the Hill isn't so bad.

And I thought we didn't know for sure whether or not Arrested Development is cancelled...?

King of the Hill is under-rated. Fox has consistantly put it on at a crappy time of day and it still does well enough for them to keep it around. And syndication also boosted its number of viewers.
