What is CustomBar? If I were to describe it, I'd say it was AWESOME. Thankfully the website has a much more detailed description:

CustomBar is a tiny 18 pixel high bar that sits at the top or bottom of your screen. It behaves very similiar to the taskbar, in that it is visible even when other programs are running. Unlike the taskbar, CustomBar allows you to place anything that you can dream of and build onto it. An extremely extensive prefab/plugin system makes your imagination the biggest limit. You could even develop apps with this thing.

What are some of the things that come with CustomBar?

No time to open Winamp to see what song is playing? Now you can view Winamp status and control Winamp all from your bar.

Quickly play albums in Winamps using the handy music menu. Comes in scrolling and column menu flavors.

Searching for images has never been easier. The customizable right-clickable search allows you to quickly search your favorite sites. Don't waste precious time flipping through bookmarks or typing into url boxes.

One thing that I will NEVER be able to live without is the quick access notepad. It's the notepad icon right next to the Google Image Search bar. All you do is click it, and a little box comes up which you can type text into. Click it again, the box goes away, it automatically saves as a doc file in C. Click it again, and it's still there. So fucking cool.

So there you go. I advise anyone reading this thread to at least try it out, it's really cool.

Cool; might as well try it while it's free. Although right now I use ObjectDock instead of the taskbar, so I don't think this would work too well.

Speaking of spam, I just got hit about 3 hours ago by a huge load of spyware, trojans, and popups. I've spent the last 3 hours cleaning my computer and now all thats left is trying ot get rid of these popups that appear about every 15-20 minutes. I've used SpyBot S&D, and HijackThis, and right now im going through my 3rd virus scan. Don't know what to do, does any have any advice if my virus scan fails to solve this last problem?
