Before you do anything, click this link: http://www.custombar.net/
Click on the big 15,000 FREE COPIES BEING GIVEN AWAY UNTIL MAY 20 (which is TODAY!), go through the registration, download your copy. This deal could end literally any second now, I have no idea, so I suggest doing it fast.
What is CustomBar? If I were to describe it, I'd say it was AWESOME. Thankfully the website has a much more detailed description:
No time to open Winamp to see what song is playing? Now you can view Winamp status and control Winamp all from your bar.
Quickly play albums in Winamps using the handy music menu. Comes in scrolling and column menu flavors.
Searching for images has never been easier. The customizable right-clickable search allows you to quickly search your favorite sites. Don't waste precious time flipping through bookmarks or typing into url boxes.
Other options?
THIS IS WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE RUNNING ON MY COMPUTER RIGHT NOW, AS THIS PICTURE WAS TAKEN 5 MINUTES AGO
One thing that I will NEVER be able to live without is the quick access notepad. It's the notepad icon right next to the Google Image Search bar. All you do is click it, and a little box comes up which you can type text into. Click it again, the box goes away, it automatically saves as a doc file in C. Click it again, and it's still there. So fucking cool.
So there you go. I advise anyone reading this thread to at least try it out, it's really cool.

What are some of the things that come with CustomBar?CustomBar is a tiny 18 pixel high bar that sits at the top or bottom of your screen. It behaves very similiar to the taskbar, in that it is visible even when other programs are running. Unlike the taskbar, CustomBar allows you to place anything that you can dream of and build onto it. An extremely extensive prefab/plugin system makes your imagination the biggest limit. You could even develop apps with this thing.
