This is a fun game I recently heard about. You can create one or several football players, join a team, level up, etc. The simulation portion of the game seems like it still needs tweaking, but it is a good concept.

Do you actually play in the games (i.e. ala Madden)... or is it more of a simulation? Too lazy to sign up to find out.

The games are simulated based on the stats of the players as well as their special abilities. Players level up as they get game experience, and they also get to train a specific attribute each day. Many teams are owned by humans, so they make coaching decisions which also affect the outcome of games.

I'm a big football fan, and I've found this to be more fun than fantasy football.
