Absolutely crazy... And I bet those adaptors were dumped fire sale style at the end of the Dreamcast's life for like $20.

Then again, they probably didn't make all that many in the first place.

I can remember playing crazy taxi and shenmue on the Dreamcast and it was such fun. Simpler times.

The broadband adapter has been worth a lot of money for decades. I remember going to Funcoland and a rude employee was bragging having one stored away for himself behind the counter.

I think the only way to get one was to buy it from Sega directly. (At least that's how I remember getting mine.)

Opening up a fresh in box Sega Dreamcast built in 2000! Sega released the system over two decades ago and for whatever reason this felt like the right time to unbox one, set it up, and play some games. IT'S THINKING.

I've been messing around with PSO in the Ultima and Ephinea servers lately. Game is still great.
