The free Chick-Fil-A thread was met with some excitement, so hopefully there are some Moe's aficionados here also.

If you download the new Moe's Rockin' Rewards app, you get a free burrito.

Including ones with guac. And their guac is pretty legit. For a long time I was Chipotle only and firmly Moe's averse, but I think that was because of the locations I'd tried and the food choices (tacos). The burritos and esp. bowls and salads are very good, though, and reasonably priced.

I miss Moe's. I was so excited to get the chance to eat it again (they have none in Chicago) but the ones in Austin closed shortly before we moved here. I still go every time I go back to Florida to visit family though.

Oh, I see what's confusing now about it. The fine print. Apparently per skimming SlickDeals about this--per a poster there, at least one manager jumped on the fine print and claimed it was BOGO and told customers this. But otherwise it seems to be working w/o issue.

It's a zillion times better than Subway and the ingredients are markedly higher quality. Just FWIW!

This is nearly every higher-end Mexican Fast Food place is laid out. Doesn't mean the food is in anyway similar to Subway. Chipotle, Moe's, Qdoba, they're all laid out like that.

There is a Moe's that I've never been to because they randomly plopped the restaurant in the middle of a parking lot and it's surrounded by Toys R Us, dead Circuit City (I think Marshalls replaced it), a grocery store, a Petsmart, and a Bed Bath and Beyond. It is the least appetizing location I've ever seen for a restaurant.

had a similar issue. I think the Moe's app reader thing rollout hasn't been too efficient. We wrote to moe's over redeeming a $10 credit not working since they didn't have the reader...they got the manager who called the owner who said they didn't have the device yet...manager didn't offer anything and the food was still good but they should've just comped it from a customer service perspective or offered a free drink or to remake the foot that had sat there getting colder during this...and it would've been a dick move not to pay for it then so I did...so we wrote to moe's to politely complain, and never heard back. Wrote twice actually in case the first email didn't go through. unusual in this day and age not to get a reply.
