Out of these indie Castlevania-likes with Japanese/Anime aesthetics, I've only played and enjoyed the Deedlit game. Mostly because I kinda like Record of Lodoss War (and Deedlit is cute).

I liked all of them so far, M4 especially. The clash of cutesy art style with eerie music and dark atmosphere makes it a game that is hard to forget.
