Ex-UGA's making this. And really, I think it looks pretty good... even the character designs/artworks are a step up I think from what Sonic Team proper have been passing off this gen in their mascot stuff (Sonic Adventure 1-2, Billy Hatcher, Sonic Heroes, Shadow).

Plus Sonic Team love the name Big, hence Big Landman from Burning Rangers.

I thought the inclusion of Big hiding in the Dreamcast version of Sonic Adventure 2 was a hint that Sonic Team got the message that no one liked him, but no, he had to come back in Sonic Heroes and Sonic X...

Ah, that fits with what I've read (and those robots, or at least one of them or an early version, were in a few miscellaneous shots). I am still wondering about the more outlandish-sounding secret characters, but Feel the Magic had a similar mix of unlockable crossover elements, and I think this is the former UGA, not what we previously considered Sonic Team, making this, correct?
