Really? On Atari.com it's 53 Euro while usually EU releases are more expensive than American ones.

The arcade games always cheated to get you to put in another couple of quarters. Then the difficulty would drop for a match and then spike again to get a couple more.

No it was different in UMK3. The original MK3 didn't have that problem.

Yeah I preordered from Atari.com in the US and it was $59.99. I got the one with the subzero slipcover. The Switch version is $49.99.

While I would love for UMK3 to get quality 2k upscaling and widescreen, the goal of this collection is preservation.

Yeah, I'm thinking this is in the same vein as the MVC collections, which also went the route of preservation over enhancement.

Also do you know if the ps1 mythologies Sub Zero is in this? Wikipedia says it is yet this thread doesn't mention it.

Sub- Zero Mythologies is in.


The exact date is unconfirmed. December is for physical release. October 30th or September 30th are rumored for digital release.

Same. I'm not expecting anything too much more than a higher-than-1080p image (higher than Switch 1 can do) and a flawless fps (whatever works best for these games).

Also I just want to support Switch 2 games that actually release on a physical card.

Nice.... thanks... Ok minds changed, no longer a pass and now a full on buy. $50 price point, inclusion of subzero and special forces (with save states and rewind) documentaries and physical switch release... sold. Wonder what the file size is going to be.

Not much, the games themselves were like 100-300mb. This might be 10gb max with all footage included.

I read about the Wavenet version, and its actually a big deal. Its essentially an UMK3 Final version. Its the last revision of this classic, with Noob Saibot playable, who was only playable on the 16-bit console ports otherwise.

at $70 and a keycard hard pass. At $50 with mk4 and trilogy on a physical cart maybe for collectors purposes. I will probably wait for reviews and just get the switch1 version if no difference, or wait for a sale.

Saved for another collection as I reckon it'll return. I could see them doing a PS2 collection too. Shaolin Monks is too good to ignore, Deception was also quite beloved.
