One of my favorite scenes in that movie is where he's having dinner with that one woman, and that whole exchange between them by the end get more and more intense

The live burial scene in Kill Bill 2. The lead up is intense, then you are in the casket with Beatrix. The movie theatre goes pitch black, all we can hear is her panicked breathing while dirt is thrown on the lid, then the muffled sound of Bud's truck driving away. Sheer terror sets in but the audience is offered relief with a flash back to the cruel tutelage of Pai Mei.

(To think people used to be buried alive on accident, for whom the bell tolls…)
