So, after saving and living in Seattle for 5 years, Wife and I are looking at houses.

Basically we can’t afford Seattle so Spokane looks decent. Planning a trip soon baring snow storms.

What’s it like in Spokane/Spokane Valley? I’m looking for family oriented areas. Wife works remotely so that’s a plus. Thanks in advance.

I never lived there but my military buddy did and I visited a few times. Lots of outdoor activities from what I remember. Amenities not like Seattle, but it was pretty decent overall.

People in the west typically use all-season tires, but you'll definitely want to pick up a set of dedicated snow tires when you move out east.
