Didn't see a thread, but I know we've got fans on here. 12 new movie signs, but I'm most looking forward to Joel doing 2 episodes, he was always my favorite.
Season 12 was better than I thought it would be, here's hoping they improve upon it.

It’s great they hit the $5.5M goal. I haven’t been able to watch them all, but they’ve been doing group streams of MST3K episodes and it’s pretty funny. I think Werewolf (Warwilf) was on yesterday with Bill Corbett.

I couldn’t get into the new seasons so I skipped the KS. Best of luck though. If the new episodes are good I might check them out.

I love MST3k since it first hit comedy central and i was a kid. I have watched the last week of live events they have done. I will watch the new season.

But..the new guys are just not funny ...they just say things. Hampton Yout goes out of his way to explain every "joke" he says right after he says it. In general they are just too nice, they never jokingly punch down at all. They dont have any sharp edge to them....its what i noticed after watching them stream Werewolf with Bill Corbett...who has all of that.

I think the other issue is, unlike the old shows, no one seems to be playing the characters and interacting with eachother as characters...its just them as themselves. Joel was the stoner dude...Mike was the naive nice guy...Jonah is just...Jonah. they all just have such flat deliveries... and its all just references.

frustrating because thy all seem like really nice people.

Same, I funded at way too high of a tier considering I watched like 10 minutes of the first episode, drifted off and never returned. And the mystery gift was some Funko Pop Tom Serv-Crow? RIP, I don't collect figures. Should probably sell this little bastard.

Basically all of them were up on YouTube 4-5 years ago. Then the Godzilla ones got removed, and a lot of the others have been taken down as Shout Factory started releasing them. I really regret never ripping the Godzilla ones

It's ironic because people apparently used to pass around VCR recordings of MST3k, and a lot of the copies on YouTube were uploads of them (the best ones had full 90s commercials intact!). I'm sure someone out there has a beautiful, grainy VCR rip of Godzilla vs Megalon or TSM Toho got assmad over.

Of course, that didn't save all the Season 0 eps until Joel found the lost ones in his underwear drawer or something.

New cast is easily the weakest, but I still enjoyed most of the new season. Hopefully they listened earnestly to feedback and do it even better the second time around.
Joel hosting two episodes definitely intrigues me. His sleepy delivery was always great, my favorite episodes are from the Joel days.
