Since we have some people with amazing taste in music here on GAF, I was wondering if anyone listens to music podcasts? I imagine it would be a really good way to get into new music but I can barely find any of them.

I used to listen to Like Hearts Swelling which was an amazing indie podcast but it's stopped now so I'm at a loss. Any ideas?

That looks really cool, thanks for the link. Does anyone know what the legality of music podcasts is? It seems to me like a great way of getting word out about bands but at the same time I could imagine it's a legal minefield in the same way that mixtapes can be.

Yeah, a lot of the time they can only play around 30-seconds of a song, especially with the more high-profile artists. Most of the lesser-known acts are grateful for the exposure though.

tbh it's kinda been a fantasy of mine to start my own music podcast. I wonder how you go about that... has anyone run a podcast before? Do you know anything about hosting etc?
