I am not a music producer but a designer who enjoys new media and music so this is thoroughly interesting to me. I do enjoy writing music though.

as far as these sorts of digital music experiment things go, this one is emminently more playable than 99% of the others :lol

What kind of designer are you? Interior, graphic? And if so can I see your work?

Architecture is what I went to school for. but I went to a school that was more design oriented than technical.

I am in the process of revamping my portfolio etc. when it is all alive again I would be happy to link you to it. I believe you saw some of my pencil drawings in an art thread before though, mostly I have just enjoyed looking at your work, but I will share soon, I promise ;)

Sorry, I'm much more concerned about the implication for electronica producers--Lets take samples and produce in realtime as opposed to rendering and exporting some Cubase timeline. I think this has a potential use far beyond djing, though you are correct.

As per your work Scola. Very cool. I'd love to see it. I should have a bunch of stuff live soon, including personal work, my student portfolio, and some interior design products people can purchase (lamps, etc.) which I silkscreen (my former roomate designed the form factors since he is a wildly talented interior designer).

Although it's cool looking you don't seem to make music with it.
It seems more like a toy with looping samples that you mess with.
I wouldn't call this a production tool such as what I have
