Hmm, excellent choice. I might go with this on another day of the week. Not right now though. I'd say at this moment, I'd love to see these two get back together:

There're rumors that they're working on a new album together. *crosses fingers*

It would help if people would actually type out the names of some of these people as not all of us can be expected to be indie snobs or otherwise. :p

Saw them sing 'Anthems for a Seventeen-Year-Old Girl' together a couple of years ago. Would love to see them together again some day. Preferably in my bed.

One of them killing themselves is a bit of a setback, but the two of them musically would be hot sex. Would not want to see what their potential children would look like.

Edit: Sorry Elliott Smith and Aimee Mann.

Beth Gibbons and Thom Yorke would be interesting, but since each of them has SUCH a distinctive style, do you think it would work? (Then again, Yorke and Bjork teamed up brilliantly, as did Yorke and DJ Shadow...hmmm.)

Tom Jenkinson (aka Squarepusher) and Prince would be inspired pairing, and hopefully it would get TJ off his annoying noise-freakout obsession of late.

I FULLY approve of the James Holden + Sia pairing, and +10000 for a James Holden mention. "A Break In The Clouds" is damn brilliant.

Offtopic: \o/, saw him live two years ago in Amsterdam, instantly fell in love with his sound. 'A Break in the Clouds' is indeed beautiful, but my favourite songs are his version of 'Fine Day' (with Kirsty Hawkshaw vocals) and the 'Vocal' version of 'Nothing'. His work with Sasha and Luke Chable is pretty awesome too. Still, he seems to be a 'DJ's DJ' - and it makes me sad that the big public isn't really discovering his music :(. Oh well, at least some people enjoy it. Would love to see him again.

I can't think of a dream duo but I'd like to hear Jerry Cantrell make a song/album with Scott Weiland or Travis Meeks.
