I like Phantom of the Opera and Chicago. Not too well versed in others besides some older Rogers & Hammerstein stuff. One of the kids really liked The Greatest Showman though.

I like the ones from the golden age of Hollywood, because the dancers were actual dancers and did choreographies that were mind-blowing. The modern stuff like Chicago or Moulin Rouge is awful because the actors they get are not actual dancers, so it's all posing and quick edits.

musicals can be fantastic (and bore-a-thons). for xmas every year my family and close aunt/cousins would meet up in nyc and see a show. it was always a fun day.

Many of the best songs are early on. If you didn't like it by My Shot or Satisfied I doubt the 2nd act will win you over.
