I recently got a Logitech MX1000, let me say it is one damn fine mouse, No noticeable lag at all, comfortable to hold and I'm currently using it on clear piece of plastic.

One question; Is there anyway to bind its buttons in games? I know with Microsoft mice this is possible, how can only five buttons be bindable on a 10 button mouse?

Use the set point software and give it a keystroke assignment. Use the lesser used out of the way keys on the keyboard.

That's about as best as you can manage.
