first if you have either of these logitech products please give me your impressions and thoughts on it.

also, if you had to choose...would you rather have the godly wireless mouse or the wireless keyboard and mouse setup?

I have the 700, and it's as fresh as a spring breeze. 1000's a bit heavier, and I didn't really note any difference in performance, but meh.

yeah so i ended up buying the logitech mediaplay cordless mouse:

i ended up buying it because it looks really freaking cool. i like the fact that i can controll the volume on the mouse and the whole "mediaplay" part of it. im gonna test run it a few days, if i dont like it im gonna return it and get a mx700 cordless desktop. so far im 50/50 on the mediaplay. i mean it looks really cool but the movement of the cursor seems clunky. might be my mousepad but my old optical mouse didnt seem to have trouble on it. i keep clicking the wrong buttons because it just isnt smooth. i gotta keep messing with the settings to get it just right i guess.

Get yourself a MX1000, it's THE best moust I've ever used, only cons that I have with the mouse is that it may be TOO sensitive. And the software needs to be running to have the extra buttons to function, but it's low memory consumption and I find it to come in really handing being able to program the buttons to suit my needs. Once your hand gets used to the form of the MX1000 it will be VERY hardto go back to another mouse, it just doesn't feel right.
