My cat just warms my heart

I love it when my cat sits right next to me in bed after a long day, or waking up in the morning to see her still hanging around. She is very sweet, lovable and just really warms my cold black heart when I feel depressed. Anyone else feel the same about their pets? Im really glad I decided to adopt her.
 
Yeah I love my cat. But sometimes she can be a bitch. This one time she turned off my pc. She was chillin on top of my rig and pressed the off button. I was pretty pissed off but when I see the furry bastard with her silly whiskers, I can't be mad at her.

Pets are like kids. They are awesome and lovable but also a pain in the ass. Gotta just take the bad with the good, fortunately my cat is mostly good.

yes! i was thinking about this the other day when it was really cold and my cat was snuggling. it is nice to have a warm body around. we are attracted to life. nobody wants to be alone. cats (and dogs) make great companions. sometimes he will sit on my chest and warm my heart and it is really nice and calming to hear his.

it is interesting, that living things generate heat. there is something special about that spark of life which radiates heat.

death does not generate that heat. the heat is magical and holy, it is life. :messenger_fire:😸:messenger_fire:

That's cool. I love my dog to death. I don't understand how people can hurt animals.
I could never bring myself to shoot a deer or moose or what have you.

Just always remember that if that same cat found you unconscious it would start eating you. Cat affection is an illusion. But for most that's enough.

Well duh. Im dead and she now has no source of food. Gotta do what ya gotta do. What I do know is that she is very comfortable around me and misses me when Im gone too long because she will stick with me for the entire day lol. Oh and sometimes she purrs simply by sitting next to me. No one is this thread is gonna bring down the love I have for my pets

Our two kitties are incredibly affectionate and sweet. Sometimes nothing is more comforting than a snuggly cat who always wants to be near you. 🐈❤
 
My cat warms my feet OP. When i forget to put my socks on i always assault her with my feet when she's chilling on mthe far side of the sofa.
She doesn't mind though. After we got our baby boy she craves for any attention, even if it's my stinking feet on her back 🤷🏻‍♂️
But i try to compensate to her. When my wife and baby are sleeping and i have a hour to game before bed she always comes and lies under my arm. I just hope she still likes us.
 
Cats are AWESOME! She likes sitting on top of random things... for some reason.

I woke up after a night of drinking and didnt realize that my cat was my pillow.

She was purring when i woke up xD and when i stood up she stretched and left xD

My dog is an absolute beauty, she is a little shit and will bite all the furniture in the house, bark like nuts at the littlest noise outside and be full of beans 24/7 but she is just so beautiful and friendly to everyone, like you know when you look your pet in the eye and you just have that feeling of complete understanding and bonding between the two of you? That is the best feeling.

My dog is a German Shepherd Pedigree and I do not regret the shit ton she cost me a few years ago.
 
My cat died 3 years ago at age 19. She was extremely shy and antisocial but waited every morning patiently until i opened the door to my bedroom so she could get pet. I still think about her all the time

Dexter is about 10 times higher maintenance than my wife and is so hungry for fuss that he practically demands belly rubs.

Come to think of it, the wife is fond of belly rubs too.

Maybe I'm just awesome at giving belly rubs. :unsure:

My cat used to do that with birds.

Think on someone blind as a bat without lenses or glasses (me) waking up with a fucking dead bird next to the pillow.

Gift my ass... lol

Still loved that cat till her last days :)

I have three cats and they don't get along very well. One day i came back from work early because was feeling sick. There i was lying in bed, feverish, shivering. They all lied down around me. But far from each other.

Thanks man. She had an amazing life and 19 years is old enough. In her final year she suffered from dementia, deafness and had a brain tumor as we found out and decided it's enough suffering. The vet came to my place to put her to sleep which was just great of her, not everyone does that

This is boomer, Had her for a few years. She was an old street cat with arthritis. Couldnt bend her arms. Would always come greet me at the door when I got home.

This is kitty. After I got my first job in high school I picked her up with my first paycheck. She was put down in 2014
