My friend is housesitting (actually in Avondale, funny enough) for an ex-air force guy that's been there for like a year now as a contractor and he went for the same reason as you. Gluck man.

What exactly is your status in Iraq? Are you contracted in security? How did you end up getting into that/ trained for that?

Your blog is fascinating. Maybe it goes further back and I didn't notice yet. It was interesting to read your brief thoughts on debt.

What do you mean by status? If you mean grade I'm a GS13 if that means anything to you. I'm in intellegence and communications. If you are talking on the ground fielded security guns blazing, protecting VIP that's not my gig. As far as training I'm editing my next blog entry hopefully that will anwser your quesitons.
