I hope you recover from this, mate. You seem to have a well intentioned character. You'll only come out stronger and more grateful once you fight yourself out of this.

The mother of a friend of mine was diagnosed with Wernicke–Korsakoff syndrome. Not sure if that's the type of ARBD you have but she's doing a lot better after getting treatment so hopefully whatever treatment plan they have for you has a similar impact. You've got this.

pay attention to temperature around u too in colder weather. Wear layers and insulating jacket if u need to help maintain core heat its easier to leak heat from ur core this will cause more blood to flow there and constrict blood vessels away from ur core you'll have more brain fog. sometimes u want that to happen though its easier for me to fall asleep when its cooler and you'll also start using more body fat for heat to keep ur vital organs warm. usually burns slowly but little by little it adds up over time just taking daily walks in cooler weather or sitting in cooler weather letting heat slowly leak from ur core will help u burn fat if thats ur goal. if ur stuck in side put on the air conditioner and have a fan blowing at you wear a breathable cotton shirt. Warm up and Dilate ur blood vessels when u need to focus/think and cool down/send more blood to ur core when it’s time to sleep
