Just making sure that this is a bad sign of my voltages going way too low... I really don't know much of anything about PSU.

Yikes.. I hope that's reading incorrectly, or you're seriously in trouble.

+-5% is the safety range or so I've heard...

11% out on 3.3V
39% out on 5V
19% out on 12V

Does your bios report voltage status? (Award has PCHealth). I say.. check that out. It's probably a software anomolie. No offense to ATI, but they tend to bugger stuff like this up. :p

EDIT: Nm.. I see that's just your theme.. silly me.

Your CPU fan is shit, Mine is 5000 RPM

Maybe yours is just big, whats your CPU temp?

My stats

CPU temp 42c/105f
MOBO 34c/93f
Cpu Fan 3500 (goes to 5000 when under load)
Chassie Fan (unknown, not connect to MOBO)
12v 11.6
5v 5.1
3.3v 3.26
cpu 1.35

Something is most definitely fucked up here. Either the software or your system. Try motherboard monitor... It's free I believe.

What the fuck?! How long have these things been going on!?

MY PROCESSOR IS FUCKING 75 Celcius!

How the hell do I fix this?!

Yah, I opened it up and my CPU fan is easily doing well over the 600 rpms my software is telling me it's running at. I don't know what's going on.

Put your finger in it just to make sure.

Edit: no don't do it. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if you died or something

did u go into your bios during boot up

look for pc health section what do those numbers say and yeah your psu is fucking you over big low voltages all over the place and im guessing next to nothing for your cou fan (why its so low speed / high temp)

does your cpu use a thermal sensor for its speed? (I bought a volcano 12 and installed the outside fan control on the front I usually keep it cranked at max)

and If i were u id use your pc a little as possible before you get a new psu and NO GAMES!!!!

I just checked my PC Health section in bios. It seems to think that the PSU is doing fine. It shows great voltages, and says that my Processor is only at 45 Celcius.

So now I must ask again... what's the deal?? Why is BIOS saying one thing, and motherboard monitor saying another???

do a bios u[date (if u can) if not id trust the bios over mobo monitor

I think I will trust the bios... I mean, if I was really getting such bad voltages/heat problems, I think my computer would have dropped some hints here and there. It doesn't crash or anything.

yeah if u were hitting 75 at average I gurantee it would been fried during hl2

mine runs at like 37C underload usually and with hl2 it was hitting 44C

Mr. Zombie, do you have a diagnosis for my problem? :(

no i mean if u were really at 75C average and then ran HL2 your cpu woulda melted through the floor, so If u havent had any stability issues I would say trust your bios

Oh sorry. I forgot to mention that the reason why I'm asking if my PSU is crapping is because all my newer games, namely Half Life 2, are running like crap. And since I now know that it isn't my PSU causing problems, I don't know what it could be.

Do you know any other possible causes that would make Half Life 2 run like sheeeeit? I reformatted and installed all drivers properly for my computer.

Sorry I didn't bring that up before. :(
