I've been browsing GAF on my iPad using Grazing browser for years.
I love it because I use gestures to close and refresh tabs, it has a true full screen mode, and the way tabs work is a lot better than any other browser I've tried.
However, lately when I try to navigate to GAF most of the time I'm greeted with this screen.

what browser should I switch to When browsing on iPad?

Purchase or gift 5 Gold subscriptions to unlock browsing privileges.

[or use Safari on iOS devices]

I was using Internet Explorer until 3-4 years ago. I know, I'm a masochist. Been using Firefox since then. It's pretty great.

Safari...? Why are you using a poverty browser? Safari is just fine.

If GAF still worked while using Grazing, I could literally make a 1-2min video showing why the browsing experience used to be so unmatched compared to just vanilla safari.

Gestures for refreshing/closing tabs and the way tabs work in general…

I think Opera has gesture input as well.

maybe it's a sign to use a normal browser.

safari
firefox
edge
chrome
brave
opera

i'm sure you'll be happy with one of them. i use safari on mobile and firefox on desktop.

Don't all iOS devices use the Safari engine? And all browser apps in the app store use Safari??

They do, but the browser still identifies itself with its name, so even though Edge and Firefox both use Safari's engine, they identify themself to the stie as edge/firefox.
