Time ta STEP IT UP
I'm president of my class, and usually sometime in October every year, we have what we call "Spirit Day." Originally, it would be a week of just allowing everyone to dress up in whacky clothing or school spirit colors. About 10 years ago when Spirit Week was concieved, they would have what we call "Pimp Day" where everyone dressed up as Pimps and Hos. Funny shit actually..

But up until 2 years ago, that was banned because we got a new principal in school who opposes such an idea. He says that people dressed way too risque on Pimp and Ho day and that it was very innapropriate. Bull shit like that. So as a result, we no longer have Pimp and Ho day, which was the heart and sould of every Spirit Week here at school.

On top of that, the Principal has limited spirit week to 3 days instead of 5, and he also says that HE will choose what kind "Spirit Ideas" will chosen for the events. He did this last year too, and he picked the lamest ideas ever. Basically, one day was "Dress in all white!!", the other day was "Dress in all yellow!!" and the last day was "Pajama Day!!" (which they always had during spirit week anyway).

So now, everyone's pissed off about it because they want a true spirit week. My principal said that the student council can choose what "Spirit Days" we have this year as long as it's appropriate but dammit, most things he won't let us do, namely Pimp and Ho day. I suggested doing a "Halloween Day" or something, but he said that that would be way too distractive during class.

This principal is a fucking joke... anyway, does anyone have any suggestions as to what "Sprit Day" ideas the school can use?

That throwing stick stunt of yours has boomeranged on us.
When I was a senior we had something called a spirit day which involved some sort of fund drive to purchase something called spirit links. Our class accumulated four links. Our class song was also some stupid Rod Stewart song cause all the ones we voted on involved smoking pot.

So yeah, your class sucks.

I hated going to school during Spirit days, since I don't dress up in costumes (and I didn't want to go to school anyway, much less celebrate it) and those that did always half assed it

I'm suprised they got away with "Pimp Day" for that long. I personally couldnt care less.. but I'm sure a lot of people would be VERY against it. Hell, we couldnt even have a hypnotist at school because one of the mothers thought it was satanic or something.

a real pimp doesn't need to be TOLD when to be a pimp. Your school is better off for having got rid of that shit. Damn, high schoolers sure do like to whine about stuff. I remember after Columbine our school closed campus (couldn't go off campus for lunch, for example) for like 2 weeks and everyone started bitching about going on strike and wearing prison suits as protest. I was like "who gives a shit?". Just go to class, and get wasted every once in a while, and high school will be awesome.

How about Stereotype day!

Take whatever stereotype you might fit into and take it to the extreme!

It's fucking crazy enough to work, but you KNOW that some kid will dress up as a terrorist, and then we're fucked.
