My son turned 23 on Friday. He had been living with my mom for the past 18 months, going to school part time, working for her part time. He was also trying to get into the police academy.
Well, 2 months ago he found out that he wasn't accepted into the academy.
He also decided that he didn't want to go to college anymore...so he enlisted into the Marines and starts service on April 5th.
Well, I guess since he knows what he's going to be doing in six months he didn't want to continue working for my mom...so the day before his birthday he quit.
The same day she told him to get out.
Found out today she also took his cell phone off her plan. TODAY.
If it wasn't for the fact that I live in a studio apt I would have had my son live with me to begin with, but my mom was paying him really good money so he was willing to take the good with the bad. He got fed up with it.
