My TV is acting crazy

Sorry but i couldn't find anywhere else to post this. I wonder if anyone has an idea of what's wrong with my TV.

I'm using it as a second monitor for my PC and for watching local channels. The problem is that when i send the picture of my PC on the TV, some of the channels stop broadcasting with a "No source" message. This is not ideal because i want to be able to change from the PC to the channels every now and then. Is this a known behavior? It used to work but now it decided it shouldn't.

Not enough information to determine. Something has to have changed if it worked before and doesn’t now that isn’t being thought of.

New device added anywhere within set up? Cable changed? Firmware updated on tv, antenna for local channels, or PC hooking up to it? As a tech support technician, there is not enough data to compute

Usually when something like a slight power surge from switch or turning on certain device its likely be the quality of the HDMI cable.

Do the channels come back when you disable the HDMI output from the PC? Likely a poorly screened HDMI or RF cable or both that's allowing interference.

I've got some experience with weird TV issues at work. Some of the older Samsung flatscreens we have, have busted HDMI ports (this may be due to our residents fucking around with them), but unless your TV comes from a seperate receiver via HDMI this probably isn't the problem. The only cases I've seen where specific channels don't work, is where the cable signal has been split numerous times and not properly amplified.

Yeah, they do come back.

I disconnected/re-connected everything and now most channels are visible, even when the PC screen is enabled in the background. But one channel still doesn't want to show up. Oh well.
