IGN reports in this article that Myst is being ported to PSP by Hoplite Research, and will be published in Japan by Sega.

Interestingly enough, Hoplite Research is the same developer who had worked on the unreleased NUON version of Myst several years ago.

Well point and click adventures, especially dated ones like Myst, really do make more sense on the DS.

The texture on those crystals is so awful.

I remember thinking how great everything looked when I played it when it first came out... I think I would have remembered some horrible Mandelbrot-esque texture slapped around. I guess I've become jaded. (EDIT: Or my eye has become more discerning and trained!)

I guess what I was implying was how much standards have gone up since then... given how amazing everything was from memory about that game.
