Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet — Official Trailer | Apple TV+

Haven't seen this posted anywhere please delete if it has. Television show about game development I guess. Always Sunny in Philadelphia is one of my favorite shows so I'll most likely check it out. Kind of getting a Silicon Valley vibe from the trailer.

I got an extremely early viewing of this show (1st three episodes) at a research institute and I thought it was awful from the complete lack of knowledge of the shows premise (MMORPGs)

A complete lack of understanding of the streaming world, woke characters with "quirks" rather than clever writing and most of the jokes fell completely flat...a real shame for me

The hallmarks of Always Sunnys' writing team are all over this. Yeah, I think I'll be binging this over the weekend.

The only thing I'm unsure about so far (only watched the first episode) is the Ubisoft game footage. Trying to pass off For Honor and Assassin's Creed Origins as footage from the same game was kinda weird lol

I liked the show, at least it was largely ok.

But man, episode 5 was plucked from an alternate universe with a much better show. If each season has ONE episode that good, it's all worth it.

Only show on TV+ I've finished.

That episode legit broke me. Reminded me a little of my past situation, even how the girl looked. Beautiful episode really. Shame that didn't become more ingrained in the main narrative in some way. Guessing that's a thing they'll stylistically do from season to season.

The connection to the Mythic Quest studio was a nice touch.

really enjoying this show, i mean laugh out loud for me.

i felt episode five was there in part to help define the struggle between creative and business groups when creating a game and especially how it can consume someones entire life. you can take that whole episodes story and apply it to relationships and roles in the main line story arch. it could have been episode 1, but that probably would have been confusing for some viewers.

im just about to start the last two episodes and wanted to post how great a show i think it is, cant wait for more.

also Master Pre'tac

They don't seem to promote it much, which is a shame because it and Servant are the only ATV+ shows I managed to finish.
I loved See (i know im the only one), For all Mankind, Morning show, and even Home Before Dark. Finishing Defending Jacob right now as well (week to week).

Their problem is the UI is awful, you cant tell what is included and what isnt. It is confusing people who dont know what show they are looking for.

I think I starter watching the first episode and didn’t like it. I can’t quite remember but ATV shows are just so bad in general.

Well I recommend you keep going, the start may not grab you immediately but this show just has a few episodes that blow you away

Season 2 started out strong. Keeping that momentum going from what I thought was a strong finish last season.

Also Poppy gained a little weight in the right places it looks like. Lookin' good.

The latest two episodes leaning into C.W. are hilarious. They've finally shredded all pretenses and gone full cable comedy jokes.

Also

William Hurt?!

Backstory was a amazing. This show keeps spitting out god tier special episodes. Mythic Quest is good no doubt, but the couple of special episodes were all like they were from an alternate universe from a far better show.
