Notably missing: Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown, which is still expected for a 2023 release (although Steam lists it only as "Coming Soon") after a delay from a planned 2022 date.

The team had previously announced that TDU:SC would not be at the event, and instead is doing monthly newsletter publications leading up to the game's eventual release, the first of which released last week. (There is no confirmation of release plans on this newsletter issue, only that "2023 will be full of revelations, answers and unique experiences." Also, of course we still have no actual gameplay footage of the game. However, this first newsletter does have lots of Showroom screenshots and details about gameplay and customization features.)

I had some hopes for Robocop not sucking, but here we are.

The 2023 gameplay trailer was unexpectedly disappointing, but for those into Robocop, the previous gameplay reveal was a lot more exciting and complex. (I think they just wanted to show pure gore and maybe some of the mission design in this recent video?)

And this is Teyon, who don't make good games but are old workhorses who just make violent shoot-em-up chaos like Terminator Resistance and the Rambo game. (Historically they have made lightgun-style shooters, but they've transitioned into FPS play. Robocop in a way looks like a mix of those mechanics, and is officially listed as a "FPS action RPG game", which is interesting...) So unless this really plays as labored and dry as the new gameplay shows, it should ideally deliver when you pull the trigger.

Come to think of it, this could really work in VR.
