New Shooting Game - Frame City Killer
New Sports Game - That horrible looking soccer game

ACCOMPLISHED

Yeah this is them finally putting up placeholders for the games they announced at TGS.

Namco Tekken Fighting
Namco Untitled RPG RPG
Namco Untitled Shooter Shooting
Namco Untitled Sports Game Sports

So Tekken, Tales of PS3, Time Crisis 4 (?), and "Baseball Shit" (thx duckroll)

But I'm sorry there's no

Namco Ace Combat VI

so failure.

I don't think it'll be in Namco's own interest to unveil a new Ace Combat anytime soon anyway, with Zero coming soon on the PS2. :P

If anyone doubts the PS3 will get an Ace Combat, that's just silly.

So the real question here is will RPG be Tales of Generics Next Gen or will it be Xenosaga Episode 4: The Pain Goes through the Bones? :D

I don't doubt, I'm just impatient! World Airforce crap from Taito or whoever looks like garbage, I want true awesome Arcade flight :(

Either way we're fucked!

Ace Combat would really benefit from running on the highest resolution possible. I can barely see the planes on AC4/5. :P AC6 on PS3 FTW.

"LIFT EMBARGO!"

If that line-up is it then it would be the first Sony launch without a Ridge Racer.

A RR6 port probably wouldn't set the world alight though.

WHERE IS THE FUCKING FOOOOOOTAGE

my god may kutaragi rot in hell under bill gate's ass for this fucking NDA crap. FUCK THE NDAs. release footage you bastards.

Will PS3 be the first Playstation to release without a Ridge Racer game? RR has always been the thing that's made Playstation worth it at launch..

Oh and Klonoa PS3 - make it happen Namco

all of those games are "New". An enhanced RR6 port, however, would not be. :D

Hmm, I just read an eyewitness account saying that the PS3 version of Ridge Racer 6 looks substantially better than the X360 version (because of the "impossible" deadline Namco had for the launch). If true, good thing, because I'm not shelling out for launch RR unless it has some "wow" power.

I get all my quotes from GAF's own Ceb, so track him down if you have any questions. :E

Gee, I thought the Tekken CG during the PS3 conceptual videos was sign enough Namco was on board. Now we know for sure!

I'm pretty sure PS3 will get the better support even though 360 is getting 4 games from Namco.

360's namco game
Ridge Racer 6
FCK
Love Football
unannounced RPG

but 2 of them is so laughably bad, I hope the RPG wont be...but anyway looking forward to PS3's namco games...:D

Well duh. They're a Japanese company that gets most of their revenue from supporting other Japanese companies, one of which happens to be the market leader.

Now make the thread title funny by changing "to PS3 support" to "suicide".

If Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection is a ps3 launch game I will import.

Besides a mention in the rumors section of a magazine I haven't seen anything about Tekken Tag 2 coming out. Why is this constantly brought up as if it was common knowledge?

Because people don't believe they'll just port over T5R (well upgrade) since there's already a T5 on the PS2. So a TTT2 would make more sense. I think people have been expecting a TTT sequel for awhile since the first one was so popular.

Katamari Damacy 3

With the power of the PS3, you never have to restart your katamari as you roll entire galaxies. Can you destroy the universe in time, or will millions of people and animals go unmassacred?

TTT was an upgrade of T3 and that was a PSX game turned PS2 game. A graphically enhanced Dark Resurrection would be basically the same thing.

DR was just finished and isn't even out in most US arcades. Seems like it would be kind of odd to do yet another upgrade for PS3 launch. That would be 3 different updates to T5. Tekken 5, Tekken 5.1, Tekken 5 DR and TTT2?

I would think when Namco makes TTT2 they'd want it to be an arcade game first.

Gun ports aren't announced until they've been in the arcade for much longer. Announcing a home release now would kill any reason to go the arcade for it.

Yah but at its core its a different game. T5R is basically the completed version of T5, while TTT was a different way of playing the series. So it wasn't like you were getting the same game as T3 with some gameplay tuning and new characters.

If they dont release a Soul Calibur game with full online support then fuck em.

For Namco to put Tekken or SC online, would just bring unwanted competition to the arcade version of thier games.

Like sega, Namco wants people going to arcades, they don't want people stop going to arcades. Putting those online is enough to stop the hardcore player from going to arcades.

Look at this, but the stuff Namco had put into SC3 was only a testing ground in adding length to the game rather than go the online route to add lenght. SC3 could've been online, but its obvious they avoided that because they knew a PS2-to-arcade conversion was possible.
