Hi folks! We've got an exciting update for you! LunarNET has teamed up with UbiSoft to let you, the LUNAR fans, help decide a new name for Lunar Genesis. Below is a little bit of information from UbiSoft that may help you decide on your favorite name:

"The new Lunar game being published by Ubisoft in the US on the Nintendo DS will be a prequel taking place 1000 years prior to the storylines from the original Lunar games."

You can vote on the poll from Lunar Genesis polling page. Polling will end on Monday morning, so if you want to vote, you better be quick about it! Also, feel free to discuss what you think of the names with other Lunar fans on LunarNET's new forums "The Lunar Threads".

...nice to see Ubi working with the fan community for once... maybe we can hope for a decent localization this time? Am I overshooting?

...I dunno, I don't really like any of them. Maybe Dragon Song would be best, it'd keep the DS initials going then and it seems the least offensive imo.

Dragon Song because it fits the general theme of dragons in the series.

I do know that "Scarlet Sun" is in there because they were desperately trying to think of names that kept the color theme going: "Silver Star," "Eternal Blue." So that's one thing to consider, I guess.

I liked Ashen Dawn, but unfortunately, I though Shattered Dawn would be a better "marketable" name, one that might get a casual gamer to pick up the box. "Shattered" has been a bit overused, though...

Interesting of them to take fan input like this >_>. I like Shattered Skies myself, although it doesn't seem to be as appropriate as some of the others. Now everyone's just going to complain when the one they voted for doesn't make it =p.
