Nano-Tubes kill cancer

What a great time to live in, i was hoping for nanotechnology to make a medical breakthrought for cancer treatment before it would happen (sooner or later) to someone close in the family.

How would this work? I mean, how could you get the nano-tubes to saturate the cancer without getting anywhere else. I imagine that it'd be difficult to control where something so tiny goes.
 
First they cure cancer then they build advanced societies and decide we are not worthy of life.

The trade off is not worth it IMO.

They soak the nanotubes in substance that cancer cells are know to absorb but healthy cells ignore.. It was explained more in depth in an article that isn't this one but I'm too lazy to look it up :P
