The official website of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump announced today on October 6 that Masashi Kishimoto's long-running ninja action manga Naruto will end its serialization for 15 years on the magazine's 50th issue to be published in Japan on November 10. It means that the manga only has five episodes left.

Man I just can't believe it's almost over. I've been following this franchise since 2004 when a friend brought dvds of the anime to my house. I thought "what is this bullshit?" And then I watched the Haku and Zabuza fight and was hooked. It reignited in me that feeling I had back when Dragon Ball was on TV.

The Manga has had it's ups and downs with questionable writing and the anime has gone through notorious filler hell and back again but I still really enjoy this series and it's really sad to see it go. Here's hoping Kishimoto at the very least nails the landing.

Stopped following a little bit after the end of the Pain fight, and I really should have stopped right after the timeskip. Part 1 was an entertaining shounen with a large and memorable cast of characters while part 2 is... yeah.
