Coldman X on snk-capcom.com recently posted a thread regarding a possible U.S. release of Naruto: Narultimate Hero for the PS2. I overlooked the thread thinking it was more of a fanboys' wish until Kumiko Nikaido made a thread on GMR's top 50 games of 2005 (Naruto was ranked #23). Supposedly, Naruto will be released on the PS2 this fall and may include both Naruto 1 & 2...

I'm wondering when 4Kids or Funimation will buy the rights to the games and cartoon so that they can do retarded name/story/violence edits for the sake of "marketing" *weeps for Sonic X, One Piece, and Shaman King*

Booo... I'd rather get TOMY/Eighting's GC Naruto fighters. And I'd rather see CyberConnect2 get to work on Tail Concerto 2.

What ever happened to Eighting's PS2 Full Metal Alchemist fighter, are either Bandai or Square Enix interested in bringing it over?

how does these two games connect to the manga story? i've only watched anime so far and have yet to read the manga portion after the current episode, so i don't want to spoil the story by playing the game.

They basically do, tho Narutimet Hero 2 also includes it's own arc. It's neat in the sense that you get to see

Narultimate Hero II has a story mode that goes all the way up to the end of the Tsunade storyline I think, as seen in the above screen shots. You're required to play specific characters for different fights, and complete objectives, all based on the manga (

Such as using the 3rd Hokage against Orochi, and successfully performing the seal on Orochi before delivering the killing blow

Agreed. Tail Concerto was easily one of the most underrated games on PS1. I'll take a Tail Concerto 2 and a Silent Bomber 2, please.

Unfortunately, the reigning president of CyberConnect left after the completion of TC and SB, the company became CyberConnect2 and the .hack era began. I fear the old CyberConnect may be gone.

Still one of the most underrated developers on PS2 in the world.

Yeah, apparently. I don't think the game gets into the chase storyline, since it was early at best during the game development.
