Gotta be honest with what little movement with the cars and the crashes they showed, it looks like the cars have weight. Most people will probably say that doesn't mean much but just think of how the cars handled in 4/5 and how they just felt floaty and didn't look like impacts carried weight, then look at these wrecks and 192.168.100.1 192.168.1.1 look how the cars actually impact with some punch. This looks really promising!!!

The game is being developed in partnership with studio 397 and will have their physics engine so that's probably why.

If you haven't picked up on it yet, the basic theme of my experience with NASCAR 21 Ignition is that it seems to float around between good and mediocre - but mostly stays in good territory when it's not having a graphical aneurysm. The only big common denominator that ever really bothered me is the bare-bones nature of it all. There's not much customization options, race modifiers, or racing modes. Even for NASCAR, it just feels a bit too simple too often.

Couple that with the mediocre graphics and no current gen features or enhancements, and it ends up being a fairly hard sell for its full price of 60 bucks. The most hardcore NASCAR fans among us will probably still get some enjoyment out of it, and it's saving grace - the racing itself - is undeniably adequate. For many, that might very well be enough. But in terms of just about everything else, it's a bit of a snooze.

I keep meaning to try one of these games. Days of Thunder is one of my favourite films, but I'm worried the games won't be as exciting as the film 😄
