Makes sense to do so now that the first two parts are elsewhere.
Rebirth deserved to sell better. Obviously wasn't down to only being on PS, but maybe due to the first part rubbing a lot of fans the wrong way. I loved it, but that was mainly down to seeing my childhood game coming to life with a modern coat of paint and high production values. As an actual "game", I'm not going to say it was amazing. It wasn't. I found Rebirth however, fantastic.
I can't wait to move past this era of Final Fantasy
Or Switch 2 optimisations will mean a much more stable experience on console and PC.Square made an incredible game with Rebirth, but completely screwed up the optimization. Now, developing for three platforms, I expect things to be even worse.
Well, seems like it'll be Final Fantasy 7: Release (simultaneously on all platforms)It will be called Reincarnation. Only subtitle that makes sense to me.

I guess part 2 is a given for SW2 now?
So PC and SW2 day one as well.

Nintendo being a platform for Final Fantasy 7 in 2026 definitely means a lot to me.
"Switch 2 is a very appealing platform and a great piece of hardware," Hamaguchi said. "That said, compared to other consoles, the specs are a little bit on the lower-end side. I have seen a lot of other publishers struggling to get their games to work very smoothly on the Nintendo Switch 2. But considering that this is a trilogy, and Remake being the first title within it, I really wanted to make sure that we are conveying that quality to Nintendo players for them to understand just how great Final Fantasy 7 Remake is."
"At this point, we have gotten the game built," Hamaguchi said. "Our engineers are working hard to optimize and to provide the final polish on the build. I'm hoping that we'll be able to provide more information on Rebirth in the very near future. Compared to the first title, the world map is a lot larger, so there is no doubt that it's a more challenging production process. But our engineers are very passionate about the work that they're doing, so I'm confident that we'll be able to deliver."
It's going to be difficult to decide to play on PC or PS5 given that I have the other two entries on PS5 and while I liked them I don't think I'll play them again so not worth it to double dip.
It's a 13600k with a 5070ti.I'd say it depends on how good your PC is.
And it will likely sell less then what the previous outings sold. Those games have obsolete gameplay.
When you compare this to Nioh or E33 (or even some previous FF), the combat of those FF games is so bad: shallow, and messy.
I was talking specifically about combat. My god, stop smoking, FFR and Rebirth gameplay is light years ahead E33.
Nioh is totally other genre, no sense comparing them.
I enjoyed E33 but when people say stupid shit like this it actually makes me hate E33.And it will likely sell less then what the previous outings sold. Those games have obsolete gameplay (EDIT: talking mainly about combat).

Oh god, i hope his rumour of it shown tomorrow is real. Ive been waiting so long
I'm only a few hours into the second one. Can't bring myself to prioritize it.
The combat is literally the best part of the Remake series tho, real time action with ATB, the mix of these two was executed well in Remake and made even better in Rebirth with party synergy skills. E33 has nothing on this one, hopefully SE keeps this system for FF17, it feels like the true evolution of Final Fantasy. And it will likely sell less then what the previous outings sold. Those games have obsolete gameplay (EDIT: talking mainly about combat).
