Native 1080i 360 games?

This thread was a waste of time, I still haven't seen any concrete proof that any non-XBLA games are rendering 1080i natively...

There's a reason Blaster1X was banned, you know.

that's because there's no way to tell, because of the scaler in the 360... if we could get the output before it scales it, then we could say for sure. so all we are left with is guesses.

The only games that have areas chopped off for me are PDZ and PGR3. COD2, Madden, Tiger, DOA4, Condemned, NBA2K6, and Kameo all look great and fit well. I have my X360 set at 1080i and I have the 30" Sony CDT HDTV. Right now, I think I will dismiss this as poor programming and not spend money to have my TV calibrated. unless, of course, this is a reoccurring problem.

I think I have the exact same TV as you, with the exact same overscan problems.

How hard would it be to implement adjustments from the dashboard. Much like a computer monitor, you could adjust what the 360 scaler outputs across the board.

I agree. I am never paying more than a $1000 for a TV so I will just accept it. But, I do wish they would give us vertical and horizontal adjustment options in the dash. I'll eat my boot before I pay someone to come and calibrate my new TV.

As I said earlier, I'd be able to tell and verify if I had a 1080p TV. But right now I have a 32" CRT HDTV and that probably has such crap resolution that I would not be able to tell a difference even if there was one.
